Would shaving/using Veet be safe for a leg recovering from a sprained ankle?

I sprained my ankle last Tuesday (Not yesterday, but the week before) and have a tender spot on my shin. I normally epilate, but I reckon it'd be just too painful.



I need to defuzz as I'm going out with boyfriend some time next week, but I just wanted to get other people's opinions.
