Since gamecube will not be updated and the Wii is coming out the next gen for gamecube will not happen ....So invest in the Wii and see if it comes out on it...l8ters

Mass effect 3 and Reckoning question?
First, mass effect question: I have never played any if the mass effects, if I started playing 3 would I be completely lost or what?
Second, Reckoning question: If I played the reckoning demo and unlock things for the full game, would I still get them if I bought a physical copy or would I have to download it?

the kingdoms of amular reckoning just came out today and its at the stores already so im wondering if i should buy it or not. ive played the demo that u download(at the ps3) i got an 1 hour gameplay it was awesome but im still wondering is it really fun? is it not too easy? is the quests good and is it a long game? it really looks good but im not sure if i should buy it or not so

Have anyone analyzed/liked/enjoyed the movie The Reckoning with Paul Bettany?
This movie surprised me. I rented it without knowing what I had . I saw a very historical accurate film with a story that reminded me of Don Quixote and Fuente ovejuna, both classical novels of Spain. The actual movie was filmed in the South of Spain. and I would like to know how many people outhere saw it and if they liked it.Have anyone analyzed/liked/enjoyed the movie The Reckoning with Paul Bettany?

Seniors, have you ever stayed in an hotel or eaten in a restaurant when they state that?
the meal includes bread and butter, only to find that it is margarine or low fat spread used on the bread? If so, have you complained and what was the outcome?
I find this happens a lot now. It's as if 'butter' is an all purpose word for something yellow we spread on bread or use with a jacket potato.
It isn't only the establishments I've mentioned above either. Sandwich shops are the same. I bought a ham roll some time ago, at a place where they make them fresh as you wait, and (because some people might not like ANY kind of spread on theirs) I was asked "do you want butter on it"? I said yes and found it was margarine. I stayed in a hotel last year where the breakfast menu stated (amongst other things) bread and butter and toast and butter. The 'butter' provided was individual pats of Flora margarine - and so it goes on, it's happening everywhere.
I thought that our U.K. Trading Standards laws were there to prevent this happening.
I realise that bread and margarine doesn't sound so nice but that's irrelevant. If I ordered beef stew and found that the 'meat' was soya chunks I'd be livid and I reckon they'd lose a court case if sued.
What do you think? Would you have the courage to ask for butter if that is what was stated on the menu but you saw that it was margarine or spread? Not just WoW but there other strategy games such as Starcraft and Warcraft and Diablo, even though Diablo is more of an adventure game. WoW:
Pros - It has a huge subscriber base which means there are always people on servers doing things...it is an MMO in the truest sense of the term, the story line and PVE in WoW are very hard to beat, they are extremely well developed and interesting, WoW is also the smoothest RPG out there IMHO...it's very difficult to compete with the money they can throw at that game.
Cons - It has a huge subscriber base which means more assholes and more 7 year olds to deal with if you want an example jump on a trial account around 5PM and go sit in a city listening to conversations, The PVP is fair to good, but there are much better games out there for PVP, this is my favorite part of MMOs so this is a major failing as far as I am concerned, WoW is 4 years old, now this doesn't mean that it will die out sooner, but it does mean that there are tons of players who are very well developed and have tons of gold, you are starting out in a developed economy with a brand new account (but don't let that intimidate you, it's more than doable)
Warhammer:
Pros - PVP, it's probably got the best PVP going right now (I haven't played everything and this is just an opinion but regardless it is VERY well done), There are also no battle groups on Warhammer which means they don't mix servers for PVP which means you get to know your friends and your enemies, It's newer so there are less fully developed toons out there running around messing with the economy and ganking newbs, I personally enjoy the story telling better in this game (opinion) it is darker and feels less cartoonish to me, that was always one of my main complaints with wow is I felt like it lacked a sort of adult flair (although adult flair doesn't mean a good game *cough AoC cough*) in Warhammer the bad guys are truly evil bad guys and not just "misunderstood" like wow, they are baby eating monsters out to destroy anything positive ...a great way to start out a game.
Cons - NO ONE can compete with WoW's money, it will probably always run a little smoother and always have more cash for development than Warhammer, If PVP isn't your thing then this game is NOT for you, while the PVE is fun and worth doing this game is meant to be played PVP and will make that your emphasis, there are less addons available for this game which is a product of having a smaller community,
There are tons of things to say about either game, they both have different qualities to them and I happen to subscribe to both (it's odd, I like Warhammer better but I spend more time playing WoW because that is what my friends play) I would say get trial accounts of both games and see which you and your friends like better.

WoW = PVE, Warhammer = PVP
Fanboys = Fail

As every avid MMO player knows, there's that initial grind from level 1 to the max level or what we call the endgame or what you may consider, only the beginning. I think this grind is the apprenticeship of preparing yourself for the 'beginning' of some serious endgame action and how fun the trip was to get there. Admittedly, in warcraft, the trip can feel more like a grind but when you reach the finish line, you know it was well worth it when you're prepping to take down the most notorius raiding monsters in the game or participating in an organized elite group to take down the opposing side in the battlegrounds.
Going through Warhammer you will notice that the game is setup to get you away from the soloing action, which is usually questing, so that you can participate in the scenarios, the battleground equivalent of warcraft. Admittedly, I reached the end of this journey to find that the endgame had little to offer, but the content soon to come sounded very promising such as lairs to massive world pvp action.
The UI organization in Warhammer Online is definitely more user friendly and one thing I noticed was that I never needed to hunt down all the addons that is crucial for warcraft and I did little referring to the internet to find out where I had to go next for an objective. In warcraft, I couldn't count how many times I Alt-Tabbed to thottbot to find out where my objectives were. On the contrary, some people may find bliss in this aspect of finding out on your own what to do next.

The reason for this is the secret code or the code that you have specifically for the game just encase you forgot what your password was, so you could get it again. well that's the reason there if you sold it to someone then decided you wanted it back you could use that and steal it back. that's why its not allowed.

Warhammer online age of reckoning?
I got it yesterday and its choppy even though my computer has everything past the requirements to run it. And it also crashes a lot.Warhammer online age of reckoning?
My friends are reporting the same thing. Usually the minimum requirements are what it takes to run the game, not run it well. So when you say past the requirements, it would depend how far past. What I would to try to narrow it down would be log into a low populated server, turn all your settings as low as they will go, then turn off all the bells and whistles and see if that fixes anything for you.
If it fixes stuff try turning stuff back up slowly and maybe a higher populated server.

No. All expansions for Age of Reckoning have been pushed in patches. Dark Millennium will be a whole new game.

I want to play Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, and in fact have already preordered the game. But I don't know if my computer can run it. The game will run slowly/choppy if you only have the stock hardware installed. If you only have 512mb of ram you will definitely NOT be able to run it. Even with 1 gig of ram it will run quite slow, always try to be over the minimum system requirements.
You may want to either upgrade your ram and video or you can look online to have someone help you build a nice gaming pc, You should check Http://www.computing.net and post in the gaming forums for further help.
Always BUILD your own gaming pc, it costs a lot less, looks cooler, and will preform better.

Kingdoms of amalur reckoning or skyrim?
I know so much about skrim and a little bit about kingdoms, but im not sure which to get, im trying to decide whether to buy skyrim or wait till kingdoms to come out.
Both look great, but i would like to know the pros or cons for either one?Kingdoms of amalur reckoning or skyrim?
While I did love the Kingdoms of Amalur demo, and I plan on getting it when it comes out, Skyrim is hands down a much better game.
Skyrim Pros:
1. Much larger world - Even though the overworld may or may not be larger, there are so many more places to go than in KoA.
2. Skyrim is a much more technically impressive game. While KoA may have absolutely gorgeous artistic direction, it falls behind Skyrim when it comes to raw graphical fidelity.
3. IMO, Skyrim is much more immersive. Not only do you play from first person perspective rather than a drawn back third-person (though third-person is selectable in Skyrim), but Skyrim feels much more alive due to the more realistic graphics, and the radiant AI/Story that causes the people to be more believable. KoA feels much more like an MMO in this respect, because the NPCs don't usually move about and carry out daily tasks, they stand in their assigned spot waiting for you to talk to them.
Kingdoms Of Amalur Pros:
1. The artistic direction, as I said before, is absolutely gorgeous. I think Kingdoms of Amalur makes a great use of contrasting and vibrant colors in order to present a world which feels much more "fantasy" than the more realistic direction Skyrim takes.
2. Kingdoms of Amalur has a much more RPG approach to the skill/level-up system, while Skyrim takes a more action/adventure approach. KoA features a "class" system in the form of Destinies, which you can change at will and allows you to blend the traditional Warrior/Rogue/Mage models to your liking. It also features traditional skill tree systems in the areas of Might/Finesse/Sorcery.
Now, obviously, this is not all the pros of either game, and I didn't list any cons, but with KoA not out yet it's a bit more difficult to say more than "It promises to be a great game based on what I've heard from it's PR guys, and seen in a 45 minute demo."
Skyrim takes a more realistic approach, creating a much more immersive world, and many of it's features are familiar to anyone who has played Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas, albeit with some streamlining done to the RPG elements, but adding a lot of improvement in other areas like crafting and AI. Kingdoms of Amalur is much more fantasy in it's approach, and is an action-RPG in a similar vein as, say, Diablo or Fable, though featuring some modern RPG elements like a dialogue wheel (as seen in Bioware games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age 2), and richer story elements than either of those two.
It's down to you to decide which style you prefer, but I cast my vote for Skyrim as the much better game.Kingdoms of amalur reckoning or skyrim?

While I did love the Kingdoms of Amalur demo, and I plan on getting it when it comes out, Skyrim is hands down a much better game.
Skyrim Pros:
1. Much larger world - Even though the overworld may or may not be larger, there are so many more places to go than in KoA.
2. Skyrim is a much more technically impressive game. While KoA may have absolutely gorgeous artistic direction, it falls behind Skyrim when it comes to raw graphical fidelity.
3. IMO, Skyrim is much more immersive. Not only do you play from first person perspective rather than a drawn back third-person (though third-person is selectable in Skyrim), but Skyrim feels much more alive due to the more realistic graphics, and the radiant AI/Story that causes the people to be more believable. KoA feels much more like an MMO in this respect, because the NPCs don't usually move about and carry out daily tasks, they stand in their assigned spot waiting for you to talk to them.
Kingdoms Of Amalur Pros:
1. The artistic direction, as I said before, is absolutely gorgeous. I think Kingdoms of Amalur makes a great use of contrasting and vibrant colors in order to present a world which feels much more "fantasy" than the more realistic direction Skyrim takes.
2. Kingdoms of Amalur has a much more RPG approach to the skill/level-up system, while Skyrim takes a more action/adventure approach. KoA features a "class" system in the form of Destinies, which you can change at will and allows you to blend the traditional Warrior/Rogue/Mage models to your liking. It also features traditional skill tree systems in the areas of Might/Finesse/Sorcery.
Now, obviously, this is not all the pros of either game, and I didn't list any cons, but with KoA not out yet it's a bit more difficult to say more than "It promises to be a great game based on what I've heard from it's PR guys, and seen in a 45 minute demo."
Skyrim takes a more realistic approach, creating a much more immersive world, and many of it's features are familiar to anyone who has played Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas, albeit with some streamlining done to the RPG elements, but adding a lot of improvement in other areas like crafting and AI. Kingdoms of Amalur is much more fantasy in it's approach, and is an action-RPG in a similar vein as, say, Diablo or Fable, though featuring some modern RPG elements like a dialogue wheel (as seen in Bioware games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age 2), and richer story elements than either of those two.
It's down to you to decide which style you prefer, but I cast my vote for Skyrim as the much better game.Kingdoms of amalur reckoning or skyrim?

I am downloading the trial of Warhammer now and will get to Dungeons and Dragons online next but I just want a general opinion from people on which you think is best.Dungeons and Dragons Online or Warhammer: Age of Reckoning?
i also played both. i did like warhammer for a while, but only at low levels. at higher levels rvr is just insane, you respawn, you get killed, you respawn, some classes are way overpowered and mythic keeps on nerving damage and healing in the classes we played. it has gotten to the point where playing the game was nothing but a never ending aggravation. also, even though you can quest, even solo without problems, questing is not the point. rvr is.
i really love ddo. i love how you can customize your character and can choose not to wind up with a cookie cutter char. nobody is ever exactly the same. however, if you don't know much about creating a good char you have the option to go for one of 3 builds for each class. also, pvp is limited to taverns, so no corpse camping.
the game is group based though. you can solo, but ddo really relies on a good group.
oh btw, love the age group. remember how wow is kind of... immature? ya, not this game. i think the majority of players is somewhere between late teens to late 30s? random guess. however, great crowd.
so it depends whether you prefer rvr or grouping. either way, have fun.
plus, keep in mind: Aion is coming out soon.

Ok dont get wow it sucks. My buddy plays warhammer all the time, so I would suggest that, the only way to play dungeons and dragons (dnd) is the real way, with a Dungeon master and friends doing role playing. So for online games I would say Warhammer
DDO is graphically brilliant, however, there's more of a cap on how far you can go in it and it makes it boring when you reach the top level. I'd go with world of warcraft, warhammer sucksDungeons and Dragons Online or Warhammer: Age of Reckoning?

yea need to buy poison shard been to diffrent towns have yet to see somebody who sells them. I want to get some so I can make utility gems to reforge my chakrams %26amp; magic staff, weapon gems %26amp; epic gems cannot be used on those weapons when forging. What should i upgrade to play warhammer online: Age of reckoning?
this are my computer specs:
1022MB RAM
a 128mb NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
direct x 9.0

Looks like you meet the bare minimum of the specs required for it (assuming you use XP, if you use Vista it says you need another gig of ram) .

路 A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
路 At least 15 GB of hard drive space
However to truly enhance your gameplay you should upgrade the processor and the video card. It will make everything else run much faster too.
EDIT: Too find some good upgrades I'd need to know the model # and manufactuer of your pc, if its custom built I need to know it's specs (mainly what motherboard and power supply it has) and what your budget would be for both the cpu and power supply. But if your using XP you should be fine with 1 gig but it couldn't hurt to upgrade to 2 sometime. As far as any posturing is concerned, we should keep our snouts completely out of this Libyan business until the storm settles down. Hague's comments on the telly were actually quite pathetic tonight. I think he was talking in terms of the 'International Community' (the UN), but from Britain's point of view he said very little.
And his comments will not be very welcoming for those British workers that are now stranded in Libya. The Dutch, Germans, Russians and many others are making extraordinary efforts to pull their people out of strife torn Libya, even using military aircraft to airlift them, but all Hague could come up with was a chartered plane was broken down in London, and he's moved 'some' RAF transporters 'near' the area and is sending an aging 23 year old frigate to assist in any evac.
It is pathetic but even more so it is disgusting. He is a member of our political system in which each and everyone of them act exactly the same. Sell the stuff to these type of people which allows them to use the physical violence and suppression on those people and then claim those leaders are going to face a "day of reckoning". What reckoning would that be then? The point that when they give him asylum in a western nation they are standing alongside him at the bank to make sure they get their cut of his money they have paid him to do what he has done? Most likely.
All these shysters are of the same ilk as Gadaffi. I take that back. If we were to demonstrate against these people because we wanted to be fairly represented in our country as those demonstrators over there are there is something they could teach Gadaffi. That is how to start the killing sooner and in the use of more and bigger fire power against us. They are no different than he is and they have acted just as he has and is.

well i want to Buy this game but i only buy games that i know they will take some time to do if you do side quests and the main quests(Fallout3,fallout:new Vegas,Skyrim etc) i normally Rent games that i can beat in 2-3days so if anyone knows how long it would take to beat this game it would help me out a lot thank you! :}Kingdoms of amalur reckoning hours to beat?
if you want to do all the side quest plus the main quest the game can take you up to 90+ hours and that is if you do side quest and the story but it probably take you longer if you try to do all of them search for all the Lore Stones go for the trophy/achievements try to level up to the max level this game is worth every penny the combat is awesome the world is a joy to explore though its not as open world as skyrim it is still fun and worth your time.Kingdoms of amalur reckoning hours to beat?
I just got done beating the main story and i did about 38 side missions and it took me around 42 hours but im doing free roam now and i have 48 active side quest still to do but yes this is a definite buy well worth the moneyKingdoms of amalur reckoning hours to beat?
i have juss beatin the main quest under 20 hours i didnt do much side quest missions

Are daggers viable in Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning?
So, I am looking at the Finesse Destinies and I see a lot of + Ranged attack and + Piercing damage, but I see no + Dagger or + Melee. Also, the dagger skill tree is in Finesse, not Might. So the question is, are daggers considered Piercing, and how viable is a pure Dagger Rogue since I dont want/like the archery system? (Personal preference, dont bash)Are daggers viable in Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning?
Daggers are the only weapon you can use for Stealth kills. Daggers also use +Piercing and +Physical as well as Critical % and what not. As far as a pure dagger rogue...I don't recommend seeing as you will encounter large groups of enemies, so I'd invest in either Magic or Warrior also. I have a level 32 Warrior right now with all Prismere gear and weaponry and it's not bad...Fateweaving is a great thing.Buick dominoes

A doubt in "game of life" on the 'day of reckoning' about promissory notes?
when we reach the day of reckoning, we are supposed to repay the entire loan and return all promissory notes @ $25000 each. but suppose if a player reaches day of reckoning and doesnt have enough money to repay the loan, then what should he/she do? is he declared bankrupt straightaway? or is he forced to play for millionaire tycoon? or he can proceed to millionaire path normally and repay loan later?A doubt in "game of life" on the 'day of reckoning' about promissory notes?

There are no rules for bankruptcy in The Game of Life. A player who cn not pay back all debts is just broke. A player can spin to go forward to Millionaire Acres and hope to win because everyone else has less money or put everything on one number and hope that number comes up on the wheel to win the game automatically.

Is the day of reckoning upon us?
A major national newspaper quoted- Britain is coming apart at the seams. Forces foreign and domestic seek an end to UK sovereignty and independence. Before us looms the prospect of Britain breaking up along the lines of race, ethnicity, class and culture. While those in power at Westminster continue to parrot the lie that we have benefited from immigration and the melting pot has worked, the idea we can import endless millions of aliens, legal and illegal, from every culture, clime, creed, and continent on earth, and still remain a country, is absurd. So what can be done to to halt the erosion of our national sovereignty ?Is the day of reckoning upon us?
It's getting closer, that's for sure. What can be done about it? I'm stumped on that one aside from saying vote Conservative at the next election because if Labour get in, that's endgame. I'm not too sure what the Conservatives could really do about it, if anything, but they're the only viable political alternative. The only option other than that is unthinkable.
Most of the people of this country and the rest of the world a blind to the powers of a few that control the very thing the millions have fought and died for, freedom.
These few people hungry for power will soon put into place the first president that will control Europe, sovereignty will be lost and with it will come greater control over all our lives.

But there are a heck of a lot of them who are bad, and have brought bad deeds, and beliefs with them. I can remember when people could leave their doors open and pop to the shops, and no-one would dream of even going in their house, let alone doing them harm, or abusing them on the way to the shops.Now we fear for our children playing in the streets. At one time children could go out to play all day and be safe without an adult watching over them.

It seems to me that a lot of the reason for this has to do with many in people in the UK as well as the rest of Europe rejecting the idea of Nationalism. After WWII many blamed nationalism for the war. The belief in ones country being superior and some how entitled is often cited.
I think that is not exactly correct. I think Nationalism was a factor but in a different way. The fact that Germany was in such poor condition after its defeat in WWI and then left to its own devices, resentment in Germany was pretty obvious. There was nothing about their country to be proud of.
That is what caused the enormous vacuum that Hitler took advantage of. By bringing back their economy and might it caused the pendulum to swing back too far the other way. The problem wasn't nationalism per se but the lack of nationalism followed by an overdose of nationalism that caused the madness.
Now most of Europe as rejected Nationalism too much. The result is a loss of national identity. The same has been occurring in America for generations but we have the advantage of sheer size. We are able to absorb more before we reach critical mass but in many local areas you can see it.
I think you may be correct. Britain needs to get back to the basics of what being British means. Perhaps those who live there are less aware of it, but we foreigners can easily see it. There is a style, a certain something that makes you unique.
In my opinion, you need to get back to being British, being proud of your heritage and regain that strong sense of Nationalism that serve the Brits so well during the War. It is useless to expect boatloads of immigrants to know what is means to be British when many Brits have forgotten themselves.

What Class should I be in Warhammer: Age of Reckoning?
In WoW i played a druid, but i only thought they were ok. I liked pallies and hunters the most. I dont really want to do ALL melee either, so from that, whats the best pvp class thats not all melee? (I'd like to be on Destruction Side)What Class should I be in Warhammer: Age of Reckoning?
Hmm, on destruction I'd recommend witch elf or (I believe the name is) disciple of Khaine. They offer some varied combat. Order has more of the comparable roles to those in WoW, and I haven't played to heavily with Destruction yet, but if you do end up going order then the elven shadow hunter or white lion might be your thing.

If you like hunters, then the Squig Herder will be your thing, I've fought against these guys and they are resilient little buggers with a lot of variety in tactics. The Chaos zealot is another possibility for varied range combat, though they seem more pigeonholed for their lack of armor.
