How could a snake with legs tempt Adam and Even in the Garden of Eden 6,000 years ago, according to creationists, when modern science shows the snake lost its legs through evolution 92 million to 150 million years ago?

All modern science is wrong. EVERYBODY knows that. Evolution isn't real, the world is not 4.5 billion years old, Jesus rode dinosaurs, the Sun revolves around us and not vice versa, the universe did not come to be by means of the big bang, thousands of years ago people could live hundreds and hundreds of years, there was a flood a long time ago that covered the entire world, people can come back to life and the earth is flat. Duh.

scripture never said the serpent had legs, it simply says that it would slither on its belly for eternity.

I believe in both the bible and evolution. And it was the serpent, the devil. Legs aren't mentioned in the bible account I am familiar with. In a way, I am happy for you that you have had such an uncomplicated life, that you have had both the time to devote to questioning things so extensively, and the ease to not need hope during difficult times. My pain, which is extensive, and not open for discussion, causes me to need hope. No logic, or insults, will change that.

Actually the word used was "serpent". A serpent in the Biblical case that was also called a "wild beast of the field". This serpent planted the idea in Eve that she and Adam could know good from bad and be just like God being able to rule themselves while living forever. No doubt Satan (being a spirit being) used this serpent to talk through to Eve. Biblically there have been other instances where animals were demon possessed in the Old Testament (not unusual).
